10,000 Shot Club
The goal of the challenge is for players to take 10,000 game-speed shots over the summer. Parents can utilize this challenge to motivate their child to step away from screens and get outside to play basketball. Here are the rules: Shoot baskets and record the total number of shots taken each day. Shots should be game-speed shots from various areas of the court, and the maximum number of shots that can be recorded in a day is 500. To help players get started, we have outlined a suggested 200-shot workout routine:
We encourage all players to take on this challenge, improve their skills, and have fun this summer. Let’s see who and join the 10,000 Shot Club and carry on Coach Stammen’s passion for basketball. Thank you to our sponsors and supporters for making this challenge possible! We will have more info on tracking shot progress soon so stay tuned.
